Link Closure Knot

Inspired by the early 19th century detachable cuffs, the link closure knot elegantly improves the form and function of ties.

The link closure knot forms a perfect four-in-hand knot without tying, and once on, the tie length can be adjusted to fit your height and waistline. No wrestling with the ties on a bleary-eyed morning.

Attach different colored knots to your Knot Theory tie to create multiple looks with just one tie. The colored knots add a dash of colour to your black and white outfits, and inspire many color combos when peeking out of your v-neck sweaters.

Now with finely embroidered designs inspired by Royal Ascot, your Knot Theory will be more versatile than ever.

Royal Ascot, first opened in Ascot, Berkshire in August 1711, is Europe's most prestigious horse race. Each year Royal Ascot is attended by Her Majesty and members of the British Royal Family.

Attendees' outfits at Royal Ascot have perhaps drawn much more attention than the horse race itself. Dress code is strictly enforced: for gentlemen a black or grey morning dress with a top hat, and for ladies a day dress of appropriate length, not baring midriffs or shoulders. However, the most fascinating part, is that the ladies don the most innovative, experimental, traffic-stopping hats. Not what you'd expect at a 300-year-old British party.

At Knot Theory, we believe in balancing traditions with innovations. So here we are, a tribute to Royal Ascot - with a British Royal Crown and a really, really, ridiculously handsome horse.

Coinciding the Royal Wedding? You don't say!
